We believe that by experiencing a sense of both purpose and pleasure in the work environment we can perform at our very best. This is why we came up with a concept to have fun outside the office - Mobal fun club.
By experiencing purpose at work we are referring to the meaningful work we do in our own ways - naturally depending on our position. How do we create purpose at Mobal then? By building the most efficient tool for local marketing.
However, purpose without any pleasure is often draining in the long run, which is why we came up with the concept of Mobal Fun Club.
The idea behind Mobal Fun Club is to provide a fun way of mixing pleasure into our work environment while trying different activities. The reason isn’t just about offering a pleasurable and fun experience for our employees but to create an inclusive work community that aligns with our values. This concept also gives us a little glimpse into our employees' hobbies. With it, we hope to create a fun environment for our employees.
We sponsor once a month one leisure activity for our employees. Anyone can take responsibility for organizing a common event to which everyone shall be invited.
We always want to make our company better together, which is why we want to establish an environment where innovation and proactivity are valued. In this case, it’s about organizing a fun event, but it reflects our work culture as well.
Being curious is one of the most important attributes that we are built on. Our culture is built on being open-minded and curious, which is also what we want to do with the Fun Club. With different activities, we can try new things - together.
We are eager to challenge ourselves to learn and develop both individually and collectively. Mobal is happy to be able to nurture that culture and see our people thrive outside work with different activities.
We want to support common activities & inclusiveness in our work community. Another reason is the possibility to get familiar with our customers' businesses as we can support them with this concept. Both customer success managers and our managed service team can build a better relationship with the business owners by doing a company visit.
It all started with our Marketing Operations Specialist Jenny’s initiative as it has been her main hobby for the last 15 years. At the same time, we were able to visit our customer Mandatum Center. We had a few flying rackets and crushed shuttles but the laughing made it a workout.
It sounded like a perfect idea to visit one of our customers and go play padel until it started pouring down. It was a little eye of the tiger - moment, even though no future padel stars were born.
Our sales representative Antti arranged a beach volley evening for us in August. Even though the ball often flew to places it shouldn’t, we had a lot of fun. We ended the event with a swim at Hietalahdenranta.
Golf has become a booming hobby during the last few years, which can be noticed around the office. So our Mobal-golfers took the matters in their own hands and swang by for a round at Espoon Golfseura.
